Procrastinating Cleaning in West Islip. NY
We are all guilty of it. We get home, decide to flip on the tv to catch up on the latest news, sports, or reality show, when we've been promising ourselves that we'd clean the house "as soon as we got home". We lied. Sometimes after a long hard week, we just want to relax! But seeing as it's the day after thanksgiving...BLACK FRIDAY...and our house is a tragic mess after yesterday's festivities, we've got to clean. This article is made to help you get in the right mood.
The "right mood"? Is that even such a thing?? The answer is YES! Of course. You need to have just the right motivation to make sure you get your house just the way you want it, in the least amount of time possible.
First, I always like to start first thing in the morning...that way the messiest, ugliest chores of your day get done right away, and faster. And then you get a great sense of accomplishment that comes with cleaning your home.
I also like to make sure that all of my tools and products are stocked. We've all realized that we don't have any clorox, and ended up running to the store instead of cleaning.
Use momentum! The biggest barrier in cleaning your home is YOU. Make sure that you avoid the tempting distractions. Once you start cleaning, make sure that you stay focused on caring from your home.
Last but not least, I always have my favorite music playing while I'm cleaning. The "Cleaning Environment" is EVERYTHING.
